kata sifat (adjectives) adalah kata yang digunakan untuk memberi sifat pada benda, atau kata yang memberi kekuatan dan untuk membatasi dalam pemakaian kata benda (noun). kata sifat juga digunakan untuk memperjelas atau mempersempit kata benda dan kata ganti.

     penulisan adjectives biasanya :
- di depan noun
- sesudah to be (am, is, are, was dll)
- sesudah obyek
